How I Work

as a depth-oriented therapist

Tone

Sometimes we slow things down. Sometimes we confront patterns that no longer serve you. I may use humor, curiosity, or directness — depending on what supports you best in each moment.

Approach

My approach is relational, experiential, and tailored to you. I pay attention not only to what you say, but how you say it — your pace, your patterns, what feels difficult to access.

I integrate trauma-informed work, parts-based approaches, emotional processing, and somatic awareness to help you reconnect with yourself — not just intellectually, but emotionally and physically.

Style
Experience

Sessions go beyond just talk-therapy to expressing, processing, and exploring depth through various means (art, music, poetry, visualization, meditations, sensory experiencing)

Therapy I Offer

modalities I draw from in session

EMDR

Specialized trauma therapy with eye movement techniques to desensitize and reprocess.

Narrative Therapy
Value Work (ACT, Existential Analysis)

We pay attention to what’s happening in your body, helping you notice and release stress or emotions that may feel hard to put into words.

Somatic

We get a sense of your view of the world and how you exist in it. We explore what truly matters to you, so your actions & choices feel more aligned with who you are and the life you want to live.

Parts Work (IFS)

We get to know the different “parts” of you — the ones that protect, push, criticize, withdraw — so you feel more whole and less at war with yourself.

Emotion-Focused (Individuals & Couples)

We focus on understanding and expressing core emotions underneath conflict or disconnection, helping you experience deeper connection with yourself and others.

Gottman Method (Couples)

We use practical, research-based tools to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create a relationship that feels secure and supportive.

We explore the stories you’ve carried about yourself, gently separating you from the problem and voice of others so you can author a story that feels more aligned and empowered.
